The IAU General Assembly and the WG on Abundances in Red Giants
- There will be a Business Meeting of
our WG at the GA. Details will be posted when they are known. We can
combine this with some short scientific discussions if we like. An agenda
of topics will be kept here. Please
email me with suggestions.
- We are sponsored by IAU Division IV "Stars" and there is
certain to be a Scientific Meeting of
this Division. Watch for details.
- Our proposed JD on stellar populations in globular clusters was merged
with Symposium 265 "Star Clusters -
Basic Galactic Building Blocks throughout Time and Space" Please
see that page for details.
- There are also many other events of interest and many that menbers of
the WG were involved in organising. Please see the GA webpage.
